White Rock Commercial and Condo Parkade Door Service

Uptown White Rock and Five Corners have a large and growing share of condo towers and low-rise buildings. Most of them use a shared parkade gate or overhead door instead of individual garage doors, so one entrance serves the whole building.

We repair the gate or door, its operator, the photo eyes and safety edges, and the receiver that residents' remotes talk to. If a part has to be ordered, the entrance can in most cases be set closed or run manually so the building stays secure. We plan timing with the strata council or manager.

White Rock is sunnier and drier than most of the region, but the waterfront takes salt spray and wind off Semiahmoo Bay. Buildings near East Beach, West Beach and Marine Drive see rust on springs, cables, tracks and rolling-door guides all year, not only in winter.

Rust shows up as frayed cables, pitted springs that snap, and curtains that stick in their guides. On these doors we clean and lubricate hardware each visit and replace corroded parts before they fail.

The city steps up the hillside from the beach, and lots are often small and sloped with tight access and retaining walls. Parkade ramps and service entrances often meet the door on a slope, so the door doesn't sit flat and the seal gaps. We adjust the door and fit seals to the floor.
